We have taken under our wing the Kasi Hero Foundation in Soweto, an NGO that provides daily meals to more than 500 children and operates a daycare center for 20 children whose parents cannot afford Early Childhood Development Centers (ECDC). The NGO primarily depends on donations for its funding. Kasi Hero collaborates with 10 volunteers who serve without remuneration.

In recent years, South Africa has faced numerous disasters resulting in significant financial losses. According to a survey conducted by the Department of Trade, Industry, and Competition, the recent floods in KwaZulu-Natal affected at least 826 companies, with the damage estimated at R7 billion.

Our commitment to community development aligns with the goals of the Kasi Hero Foundation, as we believe such initiatives enhance citizens' lives and address societal challenges that hinder talent and economic growth.

The purpose of our partnership with Kasi Hero is to provide crucial support to enhance their community upliftment efforts and to inspire others to do the same.
Program Objectives
  • Identify and address key challenges impacting children and the Early Childhood Development (ECD) sector in South Africa.
Accomplished
While more children at the Kasi Hero Foundation are now receiving higher-quality care, significant work remains to ensure that the needs of all our youngest children are fully met.
