DISASTER SUPPORT
On the 9th of December 2019, the community of Mamelodi in Eerstefabriek Informal Settlement was grief stricken following the incessant rains which lead to extensive floods destroying more than 700 shacks and displacing over 1300 people who called Eerstefabriek their home. Some of the victims were forced to seek refuge at the Mamelodi Baptist Church where we donated blankets and mattresses to the victims in support of their unfortunate circumstances.
