DISABILITY CARE
On the 30th of November, the Collen Mashawana Foundation in partnership with Ottobock SA fulfilled its promise to Bongiwe Mputhi who needed a new prosthetic leg after her limbs were damaged due to the precariousness of her physiological development.
She lived in a half- built house that was unfinished due to financial constraints, sharing her lodgings with her single mother and six siblings where they all lived in one bedroom. Not only did the Collen Mashawana Foundation give Bongi a prosthetic leg but we also handed her and her family keys to their new home.
