It’s been 5 years since the Collen Mashawana Foundation adopted the Morris Isaacson Secondary School in Soweto.
It’s been 5 years since the Collen Mashawana Foundation adopted the Morris Isaacson Secondary School in Soweto. Every year we join hands with the community, students, teachers and colleagues to participate in an initiative of maintaining and renovating the school. In 2020, we handed over 4 toilet blocks consisting of 28 toilets for the school where the toilets had not been working for years and its sewer system had been destroyed.
The Collen Mashawana Foundation has restored their ablution blocks and henceforth restored the dignity of Morris Isaacson’s students who will no longer be encumbered by the sharing of a single block of toilets.
To tackle poverty and inequality in education.
To support the creation and enhancement of a conducive learning and teaching environment in disadvantaged schools.
To address the academic, infrastructural, social and security environments in our adopted schools, ensuring that they are conducive to teaching and learning. Through this holistic approach, we are able to address most obstacles that stand in the way of providing quality education.
