Madu Ashu - Water Security In Rural Communities

On the 21st of November 2021, the Collen Mashawana Foundation launched a project called “Madi Ashu”, which means ‘Our Water’. The “Madi Ashu” project focuses on water supply in communities where clean water is scarce. The Project was launched in Limpopo at Ha-Mashawana Village. The aim is to help communities that are dominated by the elderly, people living with disabilities, and child-headed families. We donated boreholes and water wheelbarrows, a responsibility that is in-keeping with the facilitation of basic human rights throughout the continent.

The Foundation will be providing safe and reliable drinking water to communities in dire need of water. We intend to improve on health and social issues that can be attributed to the lack of clean and safe water.
