Rest In Peace Gogo Bonakele

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Gogo Bonakele Flora Shange from Folweni in KZN. The Collen Mashawana Foundation first met Gogo Shange who at 80 years of age had to cover herself with plastic every night to protect herself from rain. She was diagnosed with TB and was living in a poorly structured shack which often had water leakages adding onto the burden of managing poor health.

The Foundation managed to provide Gogo a brand new furnished house with water and electricity, but unfortunately, a few months later Gogo has succumbed to her illness and has today left us void in sorrow. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to her friends and family. She will be sorely missed by us all.
