The Collen Mashawana Foundation Visits Victims Of Gbv & Orphan's At Ndawoyakho

CMF has today visited a Centre for victims GBV and orphans in Yeoville , Johannesburg. Ndawoyakho was founded in 1992 and caters for victims referred by social workers in the area, the clinic and the police station In Yoville.

Ndawoyakho aims to empower the gender based victims and give them self-confidence by providing a home and practical care counselling in order for them to live a purposeful life with love and dignity. Their program only allows them to keep a victim for 6 months unless otherwise.

Collen Mashawana committed that CMF would renovate the Centre and assist in making sure that it complies to be recognized by the Department of Social Development, a process they had already started. CMF will further adopt Ndawoyakho and supply them with monthly essentials for their victims.
We look forward to this amazing partnership.
