HOUSE APPEAL
On the 17th of March the Collen Mashawana Foundation together with MMC Peggy de Bruin, visited the Ngomeni family (17 family members). Upon our arrival we discovered that the family occupying the house is in dire need for a house. The current occupant is a single mother and grandmother taking care of 9 children and grandchildren.
The state of the house has been hugely damaged by heavy rains. The structure itself does not look safe. The family has no one working, and they rely on the SASSA grant to put food on the table.
